Agreement

By using Moi ("the App"), you agree to these terms. Moi is provided by My Own Company Oy Ab (3434307-9), Turku, Finland.

Free Tier

The free tier of Moi is available to everyone at no cost. All data is stored locally on your device. We make no guarantees about data recovery if your device is lost or damaged.

Sync, Backup, and Sharing

While Moi is in beta, sync, backup, and sharing are provided free of charge to every account. When the beta ends they become a paid subscription; we will announce the price and give notice before that happens, and nothing is charged without you choosing it.

• There are no storage limits. We ask that Moi be used for one household's personal use; accounts showing clearly commercial or institutional use may be asked to move to an organization plan.
• If a subscription lapses, syncing stops in both directions. The app and the data already on your device keep working.
• Refunds follow Apple App Store and Google Play Store policies, or Stripe's refund policy for web purchases.

Organization Plans

Organization plans are annual subscriptions. Access continues until the end of the billing period. When a student leaves an organization, their data can be transferred to a personal account.

Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content (photos, videos, audio, drawings) you create in Moi. We do not claim any rights to your content.

Acceptable Use

Moi is designed for families and educational settings. You agree not to use the service for any unlawful purpose.

Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime for sync services. The offline features of Moi always work regardless of server availability.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use of Moi after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Finland.
